We created this website to share online some of our junk rig sailing ventures in numerous boats over the decades. We have owned 14 junk rig boats covering nearly 300,000 miles. 

We hope to add many more sea miles in our wake. As long-term continuous cruisers (over 50 years) and liveaboards, we approach sailing, which is our life, with extreme care and caution, and with a lot of joy. 

When we started sailing, there was no web, blogs or digital photos. Therefore, some of the past sailing material is either scarce or difficult to source. This site is a work in progress as we are doing it on the go, with poor signal and often limited data plans. Have patience with us.

The main purpose of the site is to document that a junk rig can take you anywhere. Yes, to windward too, if you choose to do so.

Our objective is to inspire you to take an alternative approach and to give it a go.
